Another Old Mulberry

One of the joys of an election campaign is to attend various community functions and often they involve great gardens. One such garden was at Cleburne, on the Eastern shore of Hobart.

Apart from having alpacas, for which I have a great weakness, the property has an ancient mulberry tree. It must be 100 years old and has split from the base of the trunk. But, isn’t it a fantastic tree?
