Camomile patch thriving

I love the idea of a camomile lawn especially one after the Wesley style of sweeping down to the Cornwall coast. But this is reality and suburban Hobart so the best I can do is a camomile patch.

Having replaced all lawn in my garden with plantings and paving, I decided to plant a small area between the seats at the bottom of the water feature with camomile so that it would feel great under bare feet. So here is the result to date. I bought non-flowering camomile plants from a herb nursery specialist and so far so good.

  1. Hi Chris
I know im abit late for the naming of the famous water feature but I really like the idea of So-Sue-Me Spring thought you may get a laugh from this.

  2. I too always wanted to plant a chamomile lawn a la mary Wesley, but allas my chamomile growing abilities were lacking when I tried! Mine always seemed to get root rot or a nasty attack of sparseness. Yours looks so good though! Great location for it too.
